To Jure Čeh / Taoist Yuan Weiqi:

In this lifelong journey of learning, the study of Tao flows like an everlasting song, blossoming in its most splendid hues amidst diversity. With reverence, I unroll your scroll.

Your allegory of the pure spring is a gift of profound wisdom—each character a pearl, each phrase revealing the mystery of Tao. Reading it, I felt bathed in Tao's sacred breeze, moved beyond words.

Your teaching "walk your own path, honor companions, drink in silence"resonates with Lao Tzu's truth: "Great skill seems clumsy, great eloquence seems stammering" (Tao Te Ching Ch.45). It embodies both tracing water to its source and repaying a drop of kindness with a flowing spring.

Most drown in superficial chaos, rarely perceiving essence. Yet through your spring metaphor, you illuminate Tao's path—a beacon awakening the world. Water embodies wisdom: shaping itself to vessels without losing virtue, nourishing all beings through humble stillness.

You spread Taoist teachings in distant lands, inheriting its essence across cultures and tongues. Like that silent spring, you nourish souls unseen.

Witnessing you "take Tao as your boat, ferry Dharma between East and West"—preserving Tao's roots while adapting to foreign soil—this unity of purpose and devotion to learning stirs my awe for "the Tao that can be named is not the eternal Tao" (Ch.1).

May we continue sharing insights through WeChat, jointly safeguarding Tao's lineage so its light may grace all realms.

With blessings for your Taoist studies,

And warm regards to Darija/Yuan Weixin.

Respectfully,

Your Grand Taoist Master:

Zhou Jinfu
