Did you know 7 out of every 10 frozen dumplings in China are made in Henan? A recent visit to Synear Foods’ smart factory in Zhengzhou reveals a quiet revolution: the dumplings are being made by machines.

你知道吗？中国每10颗速冻水饺，7颗来自河南。近日，记者走进郑州思念食品的智能化工厂，看到一场“让机器包饺子”的变革正悄然进行。

Song Jia, Party Secretary for Synear Foods, explained that zongzi production, once reliant on manual labor, now operates semi-automatically at their Zhengzhou factory. Even cartoon faces on buns beloved by children are precisely drawn by machines. This has not only boosted production efficiency but also significantly reduced defect rates. Where food manufacturing meets smart technology, this fully automated dumpling production line, from processing to packaging, is redefining the culinary prowess of "Made in China".

思念食品党委书记宋佳介绍称，曾经依赖手工的粽子生产，在思念郑州工厂已实现半自动化，连小朋友喜爱的卡通包上精细的五官，如今也完全由机械精准完成。这不仅大幅提升了生产效率，更显著降低了次品率。当食品工业遇见智能制造，这套从生产到包装的全自动饺子生产线，正重新定义“中国制造”的餐桌实力。

As an industry pioneer in exports, Synear Foods is a player on the global stage. Since expanding overseas in 2003, its products can now be found in over 60 countries and regions. "Americans especially adore our Chinese xiaolongbao, which features thin wrapper filled with rich broth!" Song noted. After establishing a factory in Los Angeles in 2017, an Australian plant in 2024, and the site selection finalization of a Southeast Asian facility, Synear Foods can deliver authentic Chinese specialties—dumplings, sweet glutinous rice balls, shumai, and xiaolongbao—to global retailers such as Walmart and Costco, serving as nostalgic essentials for overseas Chinese communities.

作为行业出口先行者，思念食品的国际化步伐坚定。从2003年开始布局海外，到如今思念食品产品已登陆全球60多个国家和地区。“美国人特别喜欢我们中国的小笼包，皮薄汤鲜！”宋佳说。从2017年建立美国洛杉矶工厂，到2024年澳洲工厂投产，再到东南亚工厂选址完成，思念食品正将“中华美食特色”的水饺、汤圆、烧卖和小笼包，送入沃尔玛、开市客等国际商超，成为海外游子的“乡愁三宝”之一。

How do inland enterprises overcome geographical constraints? Zhengzhou's location offers critical advantages. "Zhengzhou's asterisk-shaped high-speed railway network and north-south highways provide exceptional logistics efficiency," emphasized Song. This enables real-time coordination with suppliers and distributors, slashing transport and production costs. "As a result, we can pass these savings on to consumers through more affordable prices."

内陆企业如何突破地理限制？郑州的区位优势是关键竞争力。“郑州的‘米字形’高铁网络和贯穿南北的高速公路，为企业运输带来极大便利。”宋佳强调，高效物流实现了与上下游供应商、经销商的实时互通，节省了运输与生产成本，“最终，这些节省下来的成本将以更实惠的价格回馈给消费者。”
