Today was an amazing day. There was a total（完整的） solar （太阳的）eclipse in Wuhan! I woke up early because I couldn't wait to see it!

今天是令人惊奇的一天。武汉发生了日全食！我醒得很早，因为我迫不及待地想看到它！

My friends and I went down to the Yangtze River to find a good place to watch it. We took cameras, chairs, foodand drink, and special glasses so we could look at it. Lots of people gathered there to watch too. Slowly, the moon moved in front of the sun. It looked like someone bit a hole in the sun! It got darker and darker as the moon slowly covered the sun.

我和朋友们去长江边找个好地方看。我们带了相机、椅子、食物和饮料，还有特制的眼镜，这样我们就可以看了。很多人也聚集在那里看。慢慢地，月亮在太阳前面移动。看起来好像有人在阳光下咬了个洞！月亮慢慢遮住了太阳，天色越来越暗。

At 9:26 a.m., the moon completely covered the sun. The sky went dark. The crowd gased and cheered. The light of the sun made a ring of light around the moon. I took this photograph then. The total else lasted for over five minutes! Then it passed and the sky started to get brighter again.

上午9点26分，月亮完全遮住了太阳。天空一片漆黑。人群欢呼雀跃。太阳的光在月亮周围形成了一个光环。当时我拍了这张照片。整个过程持续了五分钟多！然后它过去了，天空又开始变亮了。

I was really inspired by the eclipse this morning. In the afternoon, I spent hours reading about astronomers, clapes, and how the planets move in our solar system.

The universe is simply amazing! I also watched some videos with famous Chinese astronauts. I want to become an astronaut or astronomers someday too. The sky is the limit!宇宙简直太神奇了！我还看了一些与中国著名宇航员的视频。我也希望有一天能成为一名宇航员或天文学家。天空才是极限！
