Tournament Structure 赛事结构

Qualification 参赛资格

Teams qualify through regional tournaments (e.g., Asia Cup, Americas Qualifier).

队伍需通过地区预选赛（如亚洲杯、美洲资格赛）获得参赛资格。

Format 赛制

Group stage followed by knockout rounds (quarterfinals, semifinals, finals).

分为小组赛和淘汰赛（1/4决赛、半决赛、决赛）。

Game Rules 比赛规则

Innings & Duration 局数与时长

7 innings per game. Extra innings apply if tied.

每场比赛 7局，平局时进入延长局。

A time limit (e.g., 90-120 minutes) may apply in group stages.

小组赛可能设 时间限制（如90-120分钟）。

Mercy Rule 提前结束规则

Game ends early if a team leads by 15+ runs after 3 innings or 10+ runs after 5 innings.

若一方领先 15分（3局后） 或 10分（5局后），比赛提前结束。

Designated Player (DP) 指定球员

Teams can use a DP (flex player) to bat without fielding.

队伍可使用 指定击球员（DP），只参与进攻不参与防守。

Scoring & Tiebreakers 得分与平局规则

Ranking Criteria 排名标准

Teams are ranked by win-loss record, then head-to-head, run differential, etc.

排名依据：胜负记录 > 直接交锋 > 净得分等。

Tiebreaker 延长局规则

Extra innings start with a runner on second base to encourage scoring.

延长局从 二垒有跑者 开始，以加快得分。

Approved Gear 认证装备

Bats and balls must meet WBSC certification standards.
